Digital Marketing Manager (Affiliate Marketing)

Myer is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to drive a best-in-class digital marketing approach for Myer, focussed on ensuring we drive the best experience for customers, and business trade objectives are consistently met.

About the role:

  • Full responsibility to drive performance within your digital marketing channels (Affiliate marketing, as well as others) ensuring associated KPIs are continually monitored, optimised towards and achieved
  • Manage the digital marketing team’s go-to-market calendar, ensuring alignment on all creative and messaging with broader stakeholders within the business to drive a seamless experience for customers
  • Establish and develop ways of working across the wider business and with external stakeholders to streamline operational processes and drive working efficiencies
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to ensure an innovative, efficient and effective approach at all times, testing and learning to ensure Myer is continually innovating and at the very forefront of digital marketing
  • Ideate, lead and contribute to company-wide projects, both technical and operational in nature
  • Reporting and analysis back to both the team and wider business as required, both ad-hoc and through data visualisation tools
  • Manage external publishers and tech partners to ensure their outputs are maximised and making an impact to Myer
  • Lead a small team. Ensure the team are motivated and continually learning and developing
  • Assist with managing budgets within your remit, ensuring profitability of all media investments

 

About you:

  • 2+ years’ experience working within Affiliate Marketing, with demonstrable hands-on experience of managing an affiliate program via an Affiliate Marketing Platform such as Impact, Partnerize or Commission Factory
  • Demonstrable experience implementing digital marketing strategies for large scale organisations, preferably within retail / eCommerce
  • Highly organised with very strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in managing and developing processes to streamline complex workflows
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internally and externally – comfortable with communicating and navigating across a large and complex organisation, as well as managing multiple external partner relationships
  • Highly analytical, numerate and driven by data; always asking ‘why’ and looking to test and learn. Commercially-minded to drive the best results for Myer
  • Good understanding of the broader Digital Marketing landscape outside of Affiliate Marketing
  • Good understanding of measurement and attribution, as well as the opportunities and challenges within these disciplines
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) strongly preferred
  • Good problem-solving skills – able to think laterally and learn quickly to identify and fix issues as and when they arise
  • Strong leader, with the ability to motivate and mobilise a team to be reactive to change
